The well-polished pure white jade plaque is in circular form with a domed surface, skilfully carved in openwork treatment in two layers with leafy stems and a pair of bird and beast. With a natural crack.

白玉，晶瑩溫潤，琢成拱面圓形，中央鏤雕兩層花葉，左右並有鳥獸，雕工精細巧妙。此鏤空技法屬當時塞外民族玉器的典型特色，以後已不復見。
