The jade with russets is polished to a glassy surface, carved as a cicada with incised markings on its mildly curved body to depict its head, neck, folded wings and abdomen.

玉，帶沁色，打磨至玻璃光。立雕蟬，兩面微拱，琢有首、頸、翅、腹等，尾和翅末呈三角形鋒尖，線條俐落，造型生動。
