The white jade with russet inclusions is finely carved as a mythical beast, its head with raised oval-shaped eyes and a narrow mouth looking forward, its back incised with the spiral cloud pattern for decoration, typical of the Shang dynasty.

白玉，略帶沁色。圓雕一頭吉祥獸，琢有臣字形目，嘴巴幼長，五官富典型商朝特色，背上陰刻卷雲紋。
